Main Street Deli

This place is the REAL DEAL. This family owned deli brings authentic recipes, filled with FRESH ingredients. Absolutely delicious. I have ordered from their Mediterranean and Paleo foods. Scrumptious colorful meals served in a charming neighborhood atmosphere, everyone treated as family; and so clean. Main Street Deli consistently achieves the most excellent sanitation ratings. The soups are my favorite and made daily; the lentil is like none other! But get there early b/c they go fast! Thank you Main Street Deli for the best meals in town!

I had my first Reuben at Main Street Deli, and it was so good I don't know if I should even try to order one elsewhere. It set the bar too high! It's amazing how great their whole menu is too, for anything you want. Their gyro is the best I've had. The onion rings and fried mushrooms are fried heaven. The atmosphere is fantastic: the Old-Hollywood pictures everywhere and the people who are all so friendly. Go now! You'll want to stay a while

Awesome place! Cool hip atmosphere with REALLY GOOD food! Just what Garland needed! I had buffaloed chicken salad and it was wonderful!! There were numerous items on menu I want to try so I will definitely be back!

Amazing place, fantastic food and beautiful people! Such a fab find on a Saturday afternoon in between errands. The people who run this deli are so warm and welcoming, taking time out to ask us (and we were a big group too!) to see how we are doing and how we liked each of our dishes. I can’t say enough good things about this place from the ambiance to the hospitality to the food. This place is 5 stars on all counts and my friends and family will definitely be making this a frequent stop whenever we are in the area!

Was going on the understanding that the hour's listed was the hours of operation. But how I was wrong went there to order a large lunch for an office meeting only to find out they don't open until they fill fit.

Menu has a lot of choice and good flavors. I got the patty melt and onion rings. All was good except patty melt meat was not seasoned. You've got to season hamburger or it's just too bland. But everything else was good. Price seemed a bit high for lunch for 2 people at just shy of $26 for sandwich, side and a drink. Friendly people and nice, clean atmosphere. We would go back and maybe split a side and get water to get the price down.

I eat here a lot since I work close by. I got to say the service is always excellent and they keep the place well organized all the time. Prices are convenient and they serve sizeable portions.

It was good, but a bit light on the meat for the money! Normally one goes to a deli to get a loaded up sandwich, not a Togo's style sandwich for a chef Ramsey price.

Finally was able to back to Main Street Deli for my favorite Gyro since this Pandemic hit. Was not disappointed. Thank you for being open in Garland.

Greeted with a smile. Great costumer service. Lots of choices on the menu. Food came out fast and was delicious. This place is family owned and they are very polite. Also good location, downtown square w/ park. Parking was not a problem, found a spot really quick right in front of the restaurant. I will definitely go back. This is the best place to go. Greeted very friendly the food is excellent I come here almost everyday lots of choices off the menu I highly recommend you go there. I PROMISE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED !!!

We have had brunch and lunch here. Pastry stops MANY times. The food is good, not great. With that said I admittedly am pretty picky in that we prefer to do less restaurants that excell in all areas rather than more that are “just” good. This is such a great deli with the friendliest staff! They are so ready and willing to help you with anything you need and make your experience at the deli great! The food is delicious (:

Excellent Gryos. The place to go in Garland for authentic Mediterranean food.

Came here with a group of good friends who I hadn’t seen in a long time. Needless to say, I was excited to catch up with them. Unfortunately, however, the food was so good that I was completely lost in the flavors. I had the chicken gyro, which had a perfect balance of contents with an amazing tangy-flavored sauce as the wonderfully delicious icing on the cake (or I should say icing on the gyro). I would recommend this Deli to anyone who enjoys amazing food and wonderful service. Also, a special thank you to the owners who came out periodically came out to check on us and seemed to know the regular customers’ names by first name!

I think this deli has some of the best sandwiches I've had in the Dallas area. The peppered turkey sub is great, with a good amount of hot and spice. The bread is very good too. I can't wait to try a few more menu items. Best food in garland I was never much of a sandwich guy till if found this place and I Absolutely love the owners! Bring your friends and family! Food, cleanliness, price, people, atmosphere. I've been eating here for 6 years, never disappointing. Larry and Suzi are top notch people with a Top Notch Deli.

I really like eating here. Food is good. I usually have a cheeseburger combo, but they have sandwiches and other items. Atmosphere is casual, very friendly like everyone is family. Free parking. Try it..You will like it...

Best sweet potato fries and Greek Salad in Garland or Dallas for that matter two thumbs up

First visit to this deli and I am impressed. I got a pastrami & cheese.....and it was very good. Pastrami was very well seasoned and tender. I will definitely be going back again and will recommend to anyone. Good service too.

My boyfriend and i tried this place for the first time and i was super impressed. The location is cool and the atmosphere is awesome. The owner cooks all his food and was extremely cool and had a full conversation with us. I love that customer service. The food was excellent! I’ll definitely be back there

First time here. It's only one of a few places I have not eaten (till today) in DTG. Food is GOOD. Fresh and tasty. I have seen a bunch of GPD eat here so it was time for me to check it out. Good to go here. Hot was hot and cold was cold.I will stop in again.

Food is great, place is nice and clean service awesome and very friendly. Greek salad was very good.

I'm sure it's an acquired taste, the corned beef tasted more like pastrami and the patty melt was seasoned with odd spices not common to a patty melt. It was ok, but I probably won't go here again.

Service is the best. Ruben sandwich was phenomenal and so was the gyro. Onion rings were not that good but fries and sweet potato fries were good. Great deli and will definitely be back.
